Flatiron Selected by The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education to Deliver Its New Online Data Science Program

Flatiron School is honored to have been selected by the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education to support its launch of a new 10-week online Data Science program. The course will be geared toward students with basic or minimal technical experience, and will introduce them to the intricacies of one of the world’s most in-demand and fastest-growing skillsets.

“We’re excited and honored to have been selected by The University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education to bring our proven Data Science curriculum to global learners studying with Cambridge,” said Adam Enbar, Chief Executive Officer at Flatiron School. “Business success and innovation is achieved through data-driven insights, and the actions they enable. Through this course, students gain confidence in their command of data, and a future career in technology.”

Over 80 hours comprising six exclusively online modules, this program will cover the popular data analysis programming language Python and Structured Query Language (SQL) before introducing students to situations based on genuine business problems modern companies experience every day. The goal? To provide learners with the practical big data experience as well as the analytical and statistical skills needed to make an impact at their current roles and in the future.

The program will feature our tried-and-true curriculum built by Flatiron School’s data science team, and will be offered through the Institute of Continuing Education.

Given how quickly the world around us is changing, the need for accessible high-quality education is more important than ever, and we’re committed to providing that education to people around the world when and where they need it. This program is another step in our longtime effort to work with world-class educators and make this vision a reality.
